Welcome to Morgana Thomas Art Therapy
I use both talking and art materials to work with each client to discover the therapeutic approach that is comfortable and productive. I understand the courage it takes to engage in both art-making and therapy, so approach my work with humility and humour.
I draw on strengths-based, solutions-focused and trauma-informed theories, with particular interest in attachment, childhood trauma, depression and anxiety.
About Art Therapy
No artistic skill or experience is needed, and I specialise in working with people struggling to unlock their creativity, or who have a harsh inner critic.
As art-making engages our body and senses, it can make it easier for us to process difficult feelings and memories. We all have our own unique way of communicating through art, play and creativity, and through reconnecting to this we can find our genuine sense of individuality and control.
